Groups are individual communities within Yale Connect for each organization, club, department, and other Yale-affiliated organization. Each group has their own site and membership for which members can register for group events, receive notifications, share resources, and communicate with others. Groups vary in their membership eligibility requirements and are managed by Group Officers. Members can join Groups of interest.  

Hubs are a collection of groups organized into larger communities. There are four Yale Connect Hubs: 

Yale College

This hub space includes all registered Yale College student organizations, groups overseen by the Yale College Dean’s Office Administration, residential colleges, and undergraduate production. New group types will enable Yale College undergraduates to more easily find organizations by topic area. 

Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (GSAS) and Professional Schools

This hub space includes groups managed by the GSAS and professional schools. Each school will have its own link to its groups. 

Campus Resources and Recreation

This hub space will include groups managed by University Life, campus centers, museums, and galleries, libraries, cultural affinity groups, and more. 

Academic Resources and University Offices

This hub space will house all groups in support of academics, including groups managed by the Office of International Students and Scholars, the Center for Language Study, the Poorvu Center, the MacMillian Center, and more. 

Members can search for and register for Group events for which they are eligible to attend. Registrants will receive a confirmation email for each event for which they have registered.
