A quick and easy way to track event attendance is using the Yale Connect mobile app to scan registrants' QR codes.
First, when your registrants arrive to the event, have them open the Yale Connect app on their mobile device. Then, have the registrant select the event from their 'My Schedule' view.

After they open the event, the registrant must select the green 'Ticket' button.

This will open a QR code to scan.

When you are ready to scan registrants' QR codes, open the Yale Connect app on your mobile device, select the 'Groups' button from the bottom menu, and select the group that is hosting the event.

Scroll to the events section in your group, and select the event for which you are taking attendance.

Select 'Check In Attendees'.

Select the QR code scanner button in the top right and use it to scan the ticket QR codes that event registrants have opened in the Yale Connect app on their mobile device. You can also select registrants (or search their name and select them) to check them in.
